Safe haven

As I said in earlier posts, I love the novels written by Nicholas Sparks and his last work is “Safe haven”.
In summer while I was in England I buy it but I haven’t started reading it yet. I will start at Christmas holiday when I have some free time. I hope this book will be as nice as the others.

Mediterranean cruise

This summer I have been traveling through the Mediterranean Sea. I visit two fantastic countries which are part of the European Union.
I love traveling because you can learn new cultures and traditions.
The first stop was France. We spent the first day in Niza and the second in Marseille.

The second stop was Italy and we visit beautiful cities such us Rome, Firenze, Genova, etc.

The Notebook

Last weekend I saw one of my favourite movies “The Notebook” with my cousins. I have seen it many times but this time was different because I saw it in English. I thought it would be difficult to understand but I understood it quite well.

The film is based on a novel written by Nicholas Sparks. It tells a story about a young couple who fall in love during the summer.

I would recommend it to everyone who loves romantic dramas. If you aren’t convinced yet, watch the trailer here:

Personal introduction

In one class we worked in our profiles for the interchange. We add some personal information such as name, where we live, our hobbies, etc.
That's mine:
I'm Ane Ibargoyen, I live in Usurbil, it's a small town near Donosti. My hobbies are painting and dancing, I have gone to painting classes and dance traditional Basque dances since I was 6 years.

What does the European Union mean to you?

During this three months we have worked on the European Union and we tried to find the answear to the following question: "What does the European Union mean to you?"

Europe is the place where we come from, so we are Europeans. The EU is a kind of economic and political union and as we are a part of it, the decisions they take affect us.

If you want more information about it here you have the link for the official web page  http://europa.eu/index_en.htm

Learning German

Some weeks ago we started learning German, it's a part of the project in which we are involved EUNI, European and International Studies.
Every Thursday we have an hour of German. We have already learn several things such as numbers (ein, zwei, drei, vier, etc.) and the verb to be (sein).
I think learning languages it's very important for our futures and it always benefit us in one way or another.
Besides the German is a language that it's becoming more important every day. So this is a great oportunity to learn new things that will help us in our futures.

Before starting the classes with Dan, we learned a song :

Ich bin Ausländer
Und spreche nicht gut Deutsch
Bitte langsam! Bitte langsam!
Bitte prechen Sie doch langsam!
Ich bin Ausländer
Und spreche nicht gut Deutsch
